lovely setting and dining room, staff were friendly and attentive. food was of good quality. room was clean. upon leaving the owner also gave me a lift to the station free of charge. cannot fault the service.

only issue was the hair dryer not working properly in the room. to my fault, i should have raised this in the morning and i'm sure it would have been looked at immediately. other than that i cannot fault the hotel.

We were able to take our dog, convenient for travel, staff lovely.

Very convenient from A74 when travelling. A locally owned hotel. Comfortable room which took dog. Evening meal choice excellent.

I liked everything

Stay was fine until going to bed , they'd put us in outside room and the noise from midnight 3 - 4 hours was horrendous. We don't know if staff or guests and wasn't going out to check. Drunken shouting etc. We were told breakfast was served between 7.30 - 9.00 am BUT couldn't get into hotel at all , all locked up , no staff about at all and nobody answered front of back doors. So no breakfast was served !!!! Another couple besides us had this same problem. We have already booked and paid to stay next Thursday night for bed and breakfast again otherwise we certainly would NOT go back again at all.

Noise , lack of breakfast , not staying inside actual hotel. Hardly any sleep . The thoughts of going back next Thursday is actually putting damper on our holiday.
