"Hidden gem!"

What a find! Lovely room with plenty of space, two armchairs and a full length mirror. Quiet location. Pub food was great and the staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay

Good location to Whatton House for a wedding. The pub itself is lovely. The food at dinner was really good . Breakfast on the first day was quick. On the 2nd night quite slow but still nice.

The smell in the bathroom it smelt of sewer. Had no fridge in the room.

"Good stop over when travelling up the motorway"

Convenient stop over not far from the motorway Comfortable quiet room Nice breakfast Friendly staff

Kitchen closed quite early so we couldn’t eat there on arrival which had been the original plan

Friendly & helpful staff were a definite plus. Bar & dining facilities were modern & clean.

It was a very hot day /night - rooms had a small portable fan which wasn’t up to the job . Hard to get ventilation & privacy . Breakfast offering was poor - limited choice & quality - which was surprising as they had some award on display.
