Nice, quiet room . Everything was nice.you had to park the car in the main car park very close to the hotel. Fee for the day between 8am and 6pm £ 7

"From the first hello to the last goodbye the whole experience was excellent."

The room was quiet and comfortable with a comfortable bed. All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The food was superb (especially the chocolate and orange panettone pudding!). We ate in the restaurant on the first evening which is a historically interesting room, with beautiful original 16th century panelling; on the second evening in the friendly and lively bar (same menu in both). Good choice of hot food at breakfast plus a small buffet with fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal.

"A charming stay with lovely food, central to the town with a warm welcome."

Lovely wood timbered character building right in the town. Dinner was amazing in the oak panelled restaurant and the staff so welcoming. The bar area had a lovely atmosphere and full of charm. Our evening meal was all homemade with fresh vegetables and was delicious!

Our room was a standard room in the old part of the Inn, so was quite basic.
