Lovely staff, great location (within 5 minutes of town and the lake), good facilities, spacious rooms, quiet despite its location, ample choice for breakfast, lovely view from the bedroom.

Good location. Big rooms

No parking so annoying to have to keep living the car around town. Very hot in room at night. Front desk often empty so difficult to find someone to speak to (but hosts when we did see them were great)

This place exceeded our expectations, our room was stunning. It's a beautiful, quirky hotel. The breakfast was great, lots of options on the menu. The location is the best in Keswick, a 5 minute scenic walk to the Lake Derwent, pass a beautiful Lakeside Theatre and gardens, that serve refreshments enroute. It has a pretty traditional ice-cream parlour straight outside the hotel too! Couple of minutes walk and you're in the centre of Keswick, where there's lots of bars and restaurants. Oh and it's the first time I didn't have to use my topper on the bed, very comfortable indeed! The staff where lovely and friendly. Which was a bonus!

Nothing comes to mind. Perhaps the parking, although we found a space every day. And there is a large carpark in the theatre grounds that's a few minutes walk away. So not a problem!
