No 1 Hotel

Great food and breakfast Amazing staff

Room we had had no windows so warm evening and didn’t get as good sleep as previous stay in a bigger room.

Everything was perfect 👌

Wen we got up early morning for breakfast the wasn't anyone about so we just left

Great position but probably the dirtyist hotel I've stayed in. Full of dirt, cobwebs and stains. The iron was burnt to a crisp. Tv didnt work. Bits missing from the bathroom. Staff who dont acknowledge you are there waiting as they're tok busy chatting. The hotel lacks a reception, so you have to go into the bar, which was packed. We waited nearly 20 mins to get out key after a long journey.

The evening meals. Poor bar meals at restaurant prices. Prawns cocktail £13.50, 5 PRAWNS iceberg lettuce and a spoon of commercial sauce! Unbelievable.

The location

Got put in a family room that looked like it hadn't been touched since the 80s moved to another room which I wouldn't recommend sleeping in if you like sleeping with the window open as all U could smell was grease from the pizza shop next door until it closed. the shower handle to turn it on was just a screw didn't get told the doors locked at 10pm
