Great Cedar Hotel at Foxwoods

Foxwoods is dropping the ball on this hotel, spend some money and update these rooms! It is old and tired and DIRTY! The rooms are dated but worst of all everything feels dirty. The hallways smell of stale cigg smoke so bad it's horrible. It's safe to say I'll never stay in the Great Cedar hotel again...

We had two rooms book. One with just a king bed and one room next door that was two queen beds. King sized room the shower wasn’t draining. In the double queen, the shower didn’t even work. My friend had to take a bath which was insane for the amount of money we spent on these rooms.

Very nice place, dining was great. Didnt love the free beer at the tables and slots. Coors or miller, not great Not enough waitresses, otherwise good.

Check in was one sided. She was a robot with 1 word answers to my questions. Pool closed, no reason. Never told us the room key is also the elevator access key. We wandered around with other people trying to figure out how to get to 6 fl. We received a knock on our door at 8:45 pm. It was an employee telling us our tv was to loud. I thought it was a joke. We are in a casino laying in bed as a sober quiet couple watching the news. She said she was just doing her job. We will never, ever, ever be back and we will be spreading the word.

What a fantastic experience room was huge and clean. Staff was very accommodating and fantastic to interact with

While we had a good time at the resort and casino, the room itself was not what we had expected. The room we stayed in had what looked like blood stains on the floor and curtains as well as a moldy and dirty shower…

Overall the property was nice and clean. The valet area was another story. While waiting for our car, morning checkout, the area was filthy and didn’t look like it was cleaned or swept in weeks. Cigarette butts everywhere, spilled drinks and other unknown fluids on ground and benches, trash strewn around. This was sad to see and disgusting to sit around, so we waited in the lobby for our car.

Room was nice, the thermostats definitely need to be updated and better doors to block out hallway noise. Had a very noisy woman talking out side of my room around 6:00 am

Great room, friendly staff.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was also located near the eating and drinking establishments we visited making the location very convenient.
