Occidental Jandía Royal Level - Adults Only

For Royal Level - Spacious, clean, fabulous setting, lovely pool area

The wi fi wasn’t great and there was a lack of information about eg local transport, hotel activities, restaurant menu etc. The app had very limited information and while staff were helpful there was usually a queue at reception. We booked bed and breakfast only, but it’s really designed for all inclusive so that caused a bit of confusion.

Service and food in Patio Canario restaurant was excellent and they made a big effort to cater to our needs as vegetarians. Service in Cafe Atlantico really friendly. Beds and pillows really comfortable. Sunbeds also really comfortable in Royal Level. Beach is stunning although quite a walk through the hotel to get there.

On our first day the room had an issue with the aircon unit not working and causing a foul smell. After some back and forth the hotel moved us to a different room but the air conditioning didn’t work at all. We had to wait for hours to finally get a room that had functioning aircon and this was frustrating after a long day of travel and we felt we were made to feel as if we were being unreasonable. The room we were eventually given was great though and it wouldn’t stop us staying there again. Reception not always manned in Royal Level.

Good food, big rooms, friendly staff, easy walk to beach and hills. Nice and quiet in the adult only area Spa facilities were a bit cold Disappointed there was no bike hire, facilities felt a bit basic given the premium vibe the hotel is going for

Staff and inclusive options were great. If you like half-board/all inclusive you will like. We felt a little bit too young for the crowd at the hotel. :D

Value for money Beach distance close but still far - 15min walk to the water.

In royal level you are treated as it sounds We booked the upgraded deluxe suite too which was ace

The shower tray is very slippy and there is no grab handle. Internet very slow. Food is good and we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was super nice and relaxing. The location of the hotel is excellent and offers a breathtaking view over the sea. The first-class service and friendly staff deserve special mention. All the staff are incredibly helpful and courteous. Special praise is due to Selene from the restaurant with her warm and friendly manner. :)

The bathroom could get a little makeover. But nothing too bad.
