Bay Horse Inn - B&B

Staff were lovely and a great breakfast. Property is tired but you get what you paid for.

The staff are very pleasant but the room was adequate. It contained a very odd box in the room which incorporated a shower, toilet and basin - very uncomfortable! Very nice breakfast.

Fantastic and friendly welcome for us as drenched and tired cyclists. Helped us sort and dry our kit for the next day. Enjoyed recovering with great food and drink from the bar. Simple, unpretentious and super value accommodation run by lovely people.

Fantastic value for money in a wonderful area for outdoor activities. The staff at the hotel deserve a special mention - friendly and very helpful. They even provided me a cooked breakfast 30 mins earlier than normal. Food and drink in the bar also great value and very tasty. It's not 5-star but with an clean room, double bed, en-suite, and tea and coffee with food served downstairs what more could you ask for. Also nice and quiet in the evening - I had a good night sleep.

The Bay Horse Inn was well presented in the inn itself food and service was great, friendly staff. Great breakfast. The room was sadly to say less pleasing to the eye. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom an ex- cruise ship style from early 90’s, very cramped for showering etc. Also a lot of rust around the frame inside and out. The decor could also do with serious improvement within the room also.(Room5). As I was on my own it was fine, if the better half had been with me, we would have gone elsewhere.

The staff couldn't help you enough. Lovely
