would have appreciated english signs for breakfast items and for commmunication with staff to be easier

The location is good, the rooms are nice.

The staff at the reception just doesn’t care. No one speaks English and doesn’t even try to explain anything. My room card was blocked at the middle of the stay, because they needed to take the money. Why not do it why I checked in or when I’ll be checking out???? No apologies, nothing. Everyone constantly looks tired and unfriendly, talks to you like you own them something. Doesn’t seem like Holiday Inn at all to me. Felt like I was staying at some cheap motel. The breakfast place was crowded, nowhere to sit (understandable, as it was during the Chinese holidays), I asked if I can take the food and eat on my room. The answer is simple: NO. So I was staying and waiting in line with a plate of food in my hands)))) I think this type of treatment is unacceptable in the international hotels.

Being a platinum member (I am sure you have plenty of them), I was offered we come drink and snacks. I was also offered room upgrade at higher floor however unfortunately the upgraded room didn’t have smoking 🚬 room option hence I gave it up for the standard room on the 5th floor. Staff members are very courteous and actively helped me to find an address on the DIDI app. Breakfast is awesome and wide spread and rooms along with the service makes me choose holiday inn wherever I travel. Strongly recommend for all types of travellers. Very professional 👏👏
