The Boathouse Apartments

The beautiful sunset we got twice on the 9 days we were there.

The property wasn’t clean or well prepared for the 9 days we had booked for. Only 1 towel per guest, 1 bath mat, dirty left over dishwasher tablets, dirty used washing powder left the washing machine. Wasn’t made aware that owners do not giver clean towels or toilet paper or any washing liquid for washing machine or dishwasher while through our stay, it is stated booking.com it’s all supplied. Owner / manager was very rude and aggressive and blamed us for the electrical faults tripping out all the appliances in the apartment only for an electrician to advise us after testing it was the old run down washing machine causing the faults. Mould and mildew on the ceiling and on the blinds and walls, was moved from the first apartment to second one that worse than the first, Manager offered refund and to go else where, as I was there work commitments and a row up and coming cyclone wasn’t prepared to pack and just wanted the owners to clean and fix the issues. She stated Everytime “ she didn’t care .. “

Was all good

The property was a great size and very well located. 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All the facilities you could possibly need were included. The view over the marina was beautiful and staff could not be more helpful.

The staff were absolutely amazing, location was amazing, decor was amazing - very homey, fresh, bright.

The first room in the apartment had the worst shower head, basically dribbled out, the drain outside of the shower was higher then where the water pooled so had to mop after every shower, also no exhaust fan to help. The shower head was dirty, crusty & filled with gunk so assuming a good clean would solve that problem or a new shower head entirely.
