This Hampton Inn and Suites is well kept and very clean. It is conveniently located and it is the perfect base to explore the Upper Peninsula. The area seems safe and quiet. Most rooms and public areas have beautiful views. It serves the standard Hampton Inn breakfast, and they separate the meat from the eggs - which is appreciated by vegetarians. Staff at the reception are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Stayed one night while visiting Michigan Tech; the room was very spacious, beds were comfortable and location was very convenient to restaurants, shops, and close to the university. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Houghton!

Staff were very friendly. Room was very clean and nice. Had a lot of fun in the (small) pool. Was fun to watch people skiing out the window! Very comfy bed and pillows. Was very quiet although I think it was sold out. Had the best night of sleep in a long time! I now have a favorite place to stay in Houghton!
