"Buena situación pero necesidad de inversión."

La pareja propietaria son muy agradables pero la maison d’hotes necesita un poco más de atención, sobre todo la entrada y las partes comunes. La habitación estaba limpia y cómoda pero ¡no se puede cerrar con llave! Bien situada.

"Une drôle d'expérience"

Cette maison est une maison typique de Saintes avec beaucoup de charme. La chambre où nous avons dormi avait beaucoup de charme et le lit était très confortable. Attention, pas de télévision dans la chambre. En revanche, la propreté reste à discuter (serviettes de bain tachées, présence de poussière et de cheveux) ... Les deux personnes qui nous ont accueillis sont pourtant adorables mais il est très difficile de se sentir à l'aise à l'intérieur de la maison. Les photos ne reflètent pas l'ambiance de cette maison. A ce prix-là (110 euros la nuit avec petit déjeuner inclus hors saison) je ne recommande pas cet endroit.

"Full of character, a small family B&B hotel "

Really enjoyed my 1 night stop over while driving through France. Top floor room nice and warm in December. No TV but there is WiFi and from their central location plenty of bars and restaurants a short stroll. Hotel and central area is mostly pedestrianised (no traffic noise), be prepared for parking a short walk away. Access is by knocking on the red door. Thanks to Annette, Armande and James for their hospitality, who also kindly spoke excellent English.

"Don't miss this charming stopover."

Not every day you stay in a 16th century residence. Thoroughly charming and characterful with a "fairy garden". Owners are very helpful and welcoming, and the age of the property does not affect the modernity and comfort of the guest rooms with excellent bathrooms and very comfy beds. Bang in the middle of the pedestrianised ancient quarter, but ample public parking 5 mins walk, which is free from 17.00 to 08.00.

Great B&B experience in the city center. Our host gave us tips for restaurants and we had a wonderful breakfast in the garden.
