The staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was well laid out and had all the necessary storage and extras. The bed was comfortable. The pool was well shaded and warmed

The bathroom was a bit tight. The food was okay but over sauced. A small gym on site would have been preferrable to access to a fitness centre near by.

In beide restaurants gegeten. Beide fantastisch. Ontbijt à la carte dus geen verspilling van eten. Sfeervol en fantastische bediening binnen en buiten. Heerlijk (verwarmd) zwembad. Een prachtig verhaal ook! Zo moet het. Wij gaan terug!

The rooms are lovely and the grounds and gardens are so well maintained! the pool is heated which was lovely! we had an amazing breakfast, lotts of choices and lovely staff! I went to the spa for a manicure and pedicure! I stayed in Riesling which was a lovely room and so cosy! the overall decor ate the hotel is beautiful! Next time I come I'll definatly book their fine dining restaurant De Tafel! see you soon!

Believe the photos on the website! This is a lovely little gem of a hotel in a beautiful old house. The staff are friendly efficient and welcoming. Our room was spectacular - I don't think we've ever stayed in such a large room in a hotel. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows too. The pool is lovely - big enough to do lengths as well as to plunge in to cool down. It was Friday steak night while we were in the hotel and we thought the steaks, the veg, the wine were all excellent and very good value for money. Staff were very accommodating when I asked for a late check out. And the spa is lovely - I had an excellent massage. It was the perfect place to spend our last day in South Africa
