The lady at the reception took R1000.00 extra from us on arrival, we used a few items, but she has never returned the about R700.00. So we consider this theft from your hotel.

I checked into Mavuta Manor on the evening of 27 June 2025, expecting a comfortable stay — only to find there was no hot water in the room. This is a basic amenity I expected would be available, especially given the property’s pricing and advertised standards. When I reported the issue, there was no immediate assistance or solution offered. I was left with no choice but to check out the same night and find alternative accommodation — at my own cost. Despite emailing the property and attaching my bank confirmation to request a refund, I have received no response to date. The lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re willing to risk discomfort and poor customer service. Very disappointing experience.

They kept my deposit because my pillow was dirty. It was paid back after 3 days. I’m very mad
