Royal Sportsman Hotel

My wife and I enjoyed our recent stay at The Royal Sportsman. We found the staff to very attentive and friendly. The food was very nice - breakfast and dinner. The hotel is a bit dated in parts (bathroom oil our room definitely needs to be refurbished) but it feels like they are refurbing the hotel in stages, I suppose when finances allow. The Bar and Dining room areas have been refurbed and are nice and warm and cosy. If you are visiting the Portmadog/Portmeirion area, we would definitely recommend you stay in the Royal Sportsman, as its good value for money.

There was nothing I did not like

Have stayed here a few times with a group of friends. We enjoy going to North wales on our motorcycles and this location is perfect. We always choose this hotel as it has secure covered parking. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and food is hearty and beer is chilled. Staff are fantastic and very welcoming.
