In room pool would have been nicer if heated

Staff was really good. from the moment we came they welcomed us very well and treated us well. we felt welcomed and treated exceptionally nice. Kudos to the whole team. Kanisha welcomed us and then staff at the restaurant was really good so does the room service staff and staff who was cleaning. Good job in hiring right people and training them well. I would recommend the staff to anyone

I’m quite particular about cleanliness, and I noticed that the bottom of the shower cubicle could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly. I also wanted to share a small suggestion regarding the bathroom layout. The shampoo and shower gel are placed outside the shower cubicle, so stepping out during a shower makes the floor wet. Having a small rack or holder inside the shower cubicle would be very convenient and help keep the bathroom dry. Felt buffet Varity can be improved as well. but breakfast was good.

The buffet restaurant was below average in terms of variety and quality of food of a hotel of this calibre and the price which they were asking for the buffet for both breakfast and dinner.

I like the peaceful atmosphere and the food—especially. The hotel reception team and staff were excellent: very friendly, attentive, and helpful.

I do have one concern regarding the cleanliness of the rooms, as it did not fully meet my expectations.

⸻ Ayubowan! Another one of our reviews is for the Avani Kalutara Resort. We have visited many places and continents, staying in both five-star and four-star hotels. For the first time in my life, I can honestly say one thing: in this hotel, several times our wishes were fulfilled before we even managed to say them out loud. We have never experienced anything like this anywhere else. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. You can truly feel that they perceive you and try to anticipate what you might need… Incredible!! We must also express our sincere thanks to Mr. Rishman Doole, who helped us a lot when my partner got sunburned. He immediately arranged for healing products to be delivered to our room. Thank you very much! 😊 We also have to mention the cooking classes. A wonderful experience, during which—under the guidance of Mr. Nipuna Laksan—we cooked amazing Sri Lankan food, and the experience was unique. Our guide during the cooking was Mr. Hashan, who revealed to us the secrets of the local cuisine. For us, it was truly a special experience. The only slight negative is one of the hotel’s tuk-tuk drivers — I believe his name is Mr. Jambo. A typical driver who offers you cheap transportation and then takes you to tourist traps (herbal garden, river safari) where he gets commissions and everything is overpriced (you can arrange it much cheaper). Be careful with him — don’t go anywhere with him or it will cost you several times more. The transportation price is not everything. Otherwise, this hotel provided a truly exceptional experience! We will definitely recommend it to all our friends who travel to Sri Lanka.
