Property was not bad, neither the location. 1. But there was no tub in the bathroom thought it was showed in the room photo at the time of booking. 2. Property feels very tired and rooms are clearly very poorly maintained, though no problem with cleanliness or staff support when needed. 3. Buffet was quite messy and dirty, and definitely did not feel tasty or fresh. We were afraid of helping our selves with over half of the stuff. There was no clear labelling of its content or names or whether it is vegetarian or not4. Pool closes too early in the evening so was useless after a tiring day climbing. 5. Live music band choice of songs was quite sad. 6. A large number of huge packaged tour buses dominated the place.

While the setting has potential, our stay did not meet the expectations set by the price point. We found the service to be overly formal yet lacking in genuine warmth. Additionally, the property appears to be aging; the lack of basic amenities like a mini-fridge and the visible wear on the infrastructure were disappointing. Furthermore, the pool area felt quite congested given the number of cottages on-site. Dinning area congested
AEThe hotel itself is nice, and the rooms have an interesting and pleasant design.
Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The buffet had a very limited selection, and more importantly, my wife suffered from food poisoning after eating at the hotel and had to spend the following day in the hospital. We are confident it was caused by the hotel food, as we did not eat anywhere else that day. Because of this, our overall experience was negatively affected.

NLLKThe staff was amazing, friendly and super helpful. The entire hotel feels amazingly calm quiet and very relaxing. We also Enjoyed the view of Sigiriya from the pool. A shout-out to Nadeesha for being an exceptional Host during our stay.
The food (dinner) was not very tasty and I believe it was targeting the European travellers hence the lack of spices and condiments.
