Inturotel Cala Azul

We booked this hotel after an extensive search. We wanted quality and were not disappointed. The reviews on TripAdvisor are all a heat and I'd recommend this to anyone and would happily go again. I'd emailed the hotel direct to ask for a sea view room on the ground floor as I was taking an inflatable stand up paddle board and I got a room exactly as I asked, for no extra cost so well worth the email. The food was great and plentiful and the dining room was always clean. We'd read reviews about people even cleaning the bins and we spotted that too. The access to the sea was via a ladder or a short walk to the beach which was perfect. The pools are great and clean. One was perfectly sloping so our 4 and 7 year old children had a great time. The entertainment was as expected but great to while away the time with a beer. There's a good little amusement park around the corner which has a massive bouncy castle for kids for €3 for unlimited time and a bar for the grown ups. Town was a 20min walk but we only went twice as the complex was so nice.

Room over looked the sea. Wonderful staff pleasant and very helpful. Very clean staff cleaning all the time. Would definitely book again next year.

We stayed here for 4 nights recently. We had asked for a quiet room with sea views, and we're pleased we got room 109 in Block F. We had views of the stunning blue water from our room, and spent so much time on our veranda as the view was so amazing, and the breeze was perfect, so we could leave the apartment doors open and turn the air conditioner off. The hotel is within very easy walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants, car hire, ATMs and beaches. Highly recommend for a short stay where location is top priority and you don't mind the rooms being a bit tired.

The Park itself has fantastic facilities- I enjoy keeping fit on holiday (doing it in the sun MUCH more enjoyable!)- and whilst the gym was small it was adequate, and the indoor and 2 outdoor swimming pools were great - though you do have to go early or late because it fills up with families very quickly! That said I had no issue with the families at all- we (a couple) were close enough to all the shops, bars, restaurants, local entertainment (Tom Jones impressionist when we went- actually brilliant despite beinga bit before my time!) The beaches are VERY close and the hotel even leads onto this little cove where you can jump into the blue sea from the rocks- gorgeous. Location is superb, rooms are clean, our STUDIO appt was plentiful stocked of everything we needed to cater for ourselves- we love going to the local shopd and cookibg local food for ourselves. Great area- bit touristy but for comfort and convenience, exactly what we wanted from this holiday- this is a fantastic little break.

This is a MOTEL rather than an hotel, in April no bar or restaurant or any food outlet was open on this site, you have to go to the sister hotel next door for all food and drink or self-cater. The kitchenette is ok, but would be improved if they removed the false cooker hood and put a shelf with a microwave in its place (who doesn’t use a microwave these days). Watch out for many steps as they do not highlight the edge of the steps, so it is easy to miss them and twist an ankle. Uncomfortable sofas in the lounge (but they are good as day beds), comfy beds in the bedroom (for me but too soft for my husband). Overpriced buffet ticket charged at EU19, (but advertised as less on their flyer in the room) so we avoided that, but very clean hotel everywhere with friendly staff. Lots of the hotel was not open in April, no pizzeria, no ice cream, no pool snack bar, NO BAR, no entertainment etc. Just the basic rooms and the outside COLD pool and the spa shop. All other services are at the sister hotel next door, which is quite a walk if your room is in the farthest block from reception. Penny pinching exercises include every other light in the corridors are not lit and they do not clean or service your room on two days of every week. Parking is always an issue and small cars find it easier to get a spot. Not good for a quiet holiday, the screaming toddlers and badly behaved adolescent males put pay to that. We would not go back or recommend it.

Really enjoyed a lovely holiday here- super value for money and lovely with the beach and the little train to the marina. Only gripe was paying for wifi unless in the hotel lobby, but that was a minor issue

Had a very nice break. Hotel is in great Location and although some parts of the complex are a little old and basis this doesn't take away from a fantastic hotel experience. Was amazing value for money.
