Inturotel Cala Azul

Hotel has a great location right on a lovely cove but felt it could do a bit more with it . The snack bar is good but it could be a great early evening bar and restaurant at sunset . Staff were all pretty good and entertainment team worked really hard , Great cleaners and no complaints on that side . Rooms are a wee bit dated ( which is fine ) but the beds are not the most comfortable . You also have to pay for wi fi , towels , safe and local tax on arrival so it can be over 100 euros if staying for two weeks . Also , they didn't tell me that we couldn't put more than 250 euros on our credit tab - which was a wee bit embarrassing when told at dinner that my credit was not good ( despite having placed a card with high limit at reception ) . Good for families and great location . Plenty of sunbeds but not nearly enough parasols for shelter . Food was pretty good for a buffet style and good options for sitting outside most nights . In summary - decent but could be a wee bit better

Lovely hotel bit old fashioned in the decor but clean and spacious rooms. Lovely sea views. I think charging wifi per each device per room is a bit steep though and it would be fairer to just charge a one off wifi fee per room. Also charging for the safe is a bit cheeky. Over all would stay again had a lovely time and staff helpful and friendly.

Stunning location. The hotel was really clean, food was excellent, brilliant kids club and entertainment programme. Would highly recommend.

Peaceful stay out of season with sunshine. Car hire was cheap and easy to organise. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice for places to eat. We really enjoyed exploring the pretty beaches and coves. The marina is well worth a visit by foot or by the land train which is not expensive. We came last year in April and loved it and we also enjoyed it this year.

The hotel reception staff were very helpful & friendly. Hotel had lots of facilities and a shop. Rooms were very clean & comfortable. Hotel nicely laid out and easy to find facilities.

Very well maintained hotel, nice staff and great for families

The Cala Azul Playa is a great hotel in a brilliant location next to a lovely beach. Very clean with good self catering facilities. This was my sixth visit to Cala D'Or. It is ideal for a family it has six beautiful safe, sandy beaches in rocky coves. (Not a place for partying though guys). Great for snorkeling.

booked an ocean view room and overlooked an block building with music each night okay for families that want to just go to pool, but no direct beach access as mentioned on website (only a cove with no sand)
