Cinnamon Wild Yala

Great remote location, wonderful wildlife right outside your room, very peaceful and tranquil. Staff were all delightful and far from pushy, in fact you were left completely alone and you had to go and find staff if you needed anything. The breakfastes were delicious and plentiful and although we were the only couple eating a la carte menu for dinner the curries were fabulous. Lighter snacks like pizza not so good though.

Excellent customer service - jungle chalet was great (well-sized, king-sized bed, no bugs/ creatures of any type found themselves in my chalet which amazed me!) - decent sized pool area

We stayed 2 nights, and wished we had booked for one more night. We did a half day safari, and were lucky enough to see a male leopard. Meals, staff and facililies are great.

Great place to stay. Only o e thing that took a while for service around the pool. However not a drama. Rooms are amazing

this is a great place. still in a wild setting with an amazing cast of wild life calling in on the natural watering hole in front of the pool. elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, wild boar and water buffallo put on a show from morning to night. did not bother with the safari as there was more to see right here without the hassle of of a bouncy dusty 4 hour jeep ride.

Fantastic place, surroundings and staff! Only food was a bit expensive (compared to general Sri lanka) and not the best I’ve had here either. But that didn’t matter too much as the jungle feeling of living in this place totally makes up for it. Only wish we had booked more nights than 2.. would definitely like to come back!

A particularly beautiful place to stay for a few days. Location perfect. Helpful and professional staff, good range of tours to choose from, food good. Could have stayed for another few days!!! Shame we didn’t see any leopards🐆🐆🐆🐆
