Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful resort! We cant wait to go back and are highly considering having our next conference here.

If you want to experience stepping back in time to the 1930s, where you are pampered in the style of the rich and famous, amongst the beautiful surroundings of colorful tile, turquoise-colored pools, large vases everywhere, cobblestone pathways, flowers, palms, etc., then this is the resort for you. The staff is wonderful and attentive. I can't wait to return, but next time I will leave more time to savor this resort and give myself more time to take in the history, color, smells, pampering and pools.

The finest resort we have ever stayed. The staff was amazing, the rooms were clean and quiet and the grounds have wonderful art installations . Did I mention how great the staff are? Everyone was happy and glad to see you. I wish I could remember all their names because I would list them all. The food and drinks were great This stay was the best. Oh and the staff is amazing.

The scenery

Thin floors ! Heard every step from above. Staff left my door unlocked on returning back to my room. Also at the restaurant my daughter has an allergy to avocado and we asked to keep out of the dish. It was literally in the dressing. We approached the waitress on the issue and she lied to our faces. Unacceptable! Didn’t get the plus one experience!

This hotel proves stellar customer service from beginning to end. Maybe the best I have ever seen in a hotel. The check-in process, housekeeping, dining services - 10 all around. Room had a beautiful view of mountain with spectacular sunsets. High quality furnishings and responsive housekeeping to any request. Will definitely be back.

As a touring jazz recording artist who has spent the last 45 years traveling the world, I’ve stayed in just about every type of hotel imaginable. When you’re on the road as much as I am, hotels become a big part of your life. After returning from a long international trip performing in India, my group and I performed at a jazz club in Tucson, and I wanted to give my band, and myself, a special experience and a wonderful place to relax and decompress. Hacienda Del Sol exceeded every expectation. The property is beautiful, with stunning views and a wonderful sense of history, quite inspiring. The restaurant is one of the best in the city, and they put on one of the best Sunday and holiday brunches I have ever seen. My room was beautifully appointed, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable, so much so that I extended my stay simply because I didn’t want to leave. The bed and bedding were exceptional, and every member of the staff was attentive, polite, and genuinely committed to making the experience memorable. If you’re visiting Tucson and want a memorable, relaxing stay, I highly recommend Hacienda Del Sol. You’ll be glad you stayed here, and I’m sure you’ll want to come back. Brian Bromberg

The overall facilities were excellent.

Our room (#29) had NO view of the mountains. All we could see from our window was a stucco wall and a large air conditioning unit. On our last night, we had NO hot water. The staff offered us a different room which we accepted, but that was at 10 pm! The valet staff helped us with our move.
