"Great views from Average Lodging"

The location is excellent our room had a fantastic view of the matterhorn. The bathroom had been updated, which was nice. The bedroom is definitely showing it's age. I would say the room was satisfactory. The breakfast spread was decent nothing extravagant. FYI - staff isn't 24 hours and

they charge you a fee for early check in. We just waited the 2 hrs until official check-in but I think that is a crap policy. If the room is clean and available, I shouldn't have to pay $40 to occupy it 2 hrs early.

Great location quiet but only a short walk to centre of Zermatt and rail station Staff very helpful and welcoming Room clean comfy and more than adequate Good breakfast Lovely lounge area with view of the Matterhorn

"Wonderful stay"

Hotel Ambiance makes you feel you are home, or even better.. makes you feel you are staying at your very close friend’s place or family members’s. Everything is in place.. super clean and organized, amazing breakfast… also for whiskey lovers they have a very interesting whiskey bar/collection. It’s very close to everything, including the one of the 2 main lifts. At the end I have to say thank you to Alain and Stephanie who own and manage the property and also Katharina who would help you out almost with everything I would definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone .

An excellent stay at Hotel Ambiance. Perfect location with an easy walk to ski bus, shops, restaurants and bars - yet so quiet. Exceptionally clean, awesome hearty and plentiful breakfast every morning, friendly and super helpful staff….and that view..!! Will definitely return.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was really cute and practical and in a lovely location, 10-15min walk to the lifts. Good breakfast, pleasant rooms, cosy bar area.
