Great property and lovely location. Reception staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Bedroom was spacious clean and very comfortable.

The full English breakfast was very greasy and tasted greasy. I couldn’t eat it and it put me off eating anything else as I couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth. Genuinely, the worst full English breakfast I’ve ever had. My wife had the scrambled egg which was fine but unseasoned.

The hotel photos compared to reality is a shame. It is very run down and needs a massive make over. In our room there were lots of marks on the walls, furniture with stains on them and damage. We felt very let down for the price we paid for the experience we got. We spoke to another couple that were checking out the same time as us and had mould in there shower, and dirty bed sheets. The spa was included in our stay however a lot of tiles had fallen of the Jacuzzi and a few plasters which wasn’t pleasant. We went into the sauna and I stepped up to sit on top section and part of the wood was broken which could’ve easily cause an injury to someone. The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The staff is the lounge bar were absolutely brilliant and made our evening drinks very enjoyable.

The building is old,rooms need upgrades and a good clean,specially the bathrooms are so out of date and looks like hospital toilets, they didn’t even have water bottles in the rooms. Breakfast was not buffet style,we had to order so we didn’t like that,not much options.

Views were stunning, as you would expect on a golf course. Food was good, especially evening meal steak & chips. Staff were really helpful, especially when we wanted to dress a function room and dispose of boxes.

Rooms and food areas a bit tired. Need updating. Staff could be a bit more polished and special. Breakfast, would’ve preferred granola to be with cereal choices as self serve.

We had a suite which was fantastic, but could have done with more shampoo sachais as 1 for 2 guests not quite enough.

It's dated. Feels like a luxury hotel from the nineties. Guy serving drinks in the bar needs some basic customer service training. Overall the place is fine / ok.
