Logis Hotel Du Chateau

Friendly staff, early check during the heat wave which was very welcome, safe place to store our bikes and a large room.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No bottled water in the room. Average breakfast. €6 extra charge to pay my bill on card, I was told this is because I am not in the EU. This is the only place I have been charged a fee, so can't help but think this was an unnecessary charge which I feel is unacceptable.

Ruime kamer en een comfortabele badkamer, het ontbijt was in buffetvorm en ruim voldoende keuze. De locatie was best aangenaam op de rand van een stadje aan een meer en een kasteel als overbuur. Prima locatie om de streek te verkennen van St Malo tot ST Michel met veel bezienswaardigheden binnen het uur rijden met de wagen. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Er was geen lift en de trap vrij smal om met valiezen op de tweede verdieping te raken. Het ontbijt, ondanks dat er voldoende keuze was, was toch eentonig en elke dag net het zelfde .

Emplacement super, sur une petite place au bord du lac. Le personnel accueillant et attentionné. Très bon restaurant, avec une carte de saison, fait maison. Kids friendly.

La vue sur le lac et château.

Établissement non adaptée pour PMR beaucoup de marches, le repas très long plus de 2 heures pour 1 plat et 1 dessert chère pour la qualitée. Pour la chambre pas de clim ou ventilateur.

My husband managed to get a smile from the receptionist on our last day of stay. It makes such a difference to guests in what we understand is a very tough and challenging hospitality business. Location to town & beautiful lake the picture shows the medieval chateau and the hotel is immediately below it.

Everything was dark, miserable and run down. Windows. Garden. Paint work. Furniture. Beds and bedding. This hotel needs a serious cash injection to regenerate the chateau it certainly didn't resemble any external merchandise promotional literature we saw on line. Not even the restaurant was appealing. Pictures of a huge tree (our view from our room) We were not best pleased with that.

Lovely old building in a square by the lake - our ground floor room was spacious, quiet & spotless. Fantastic value for money - we also had a good supper. Big garden for our dog too! .

Accueil très chaleureux par les très sympathiques nouveaux propriétaires, dans cet hôtel de charme avec un joli parc et vue sur le lac , idéalement placé pour visiter ce merveilleux coin de Bretagne . Notre chambre avec jolie vue était très propre, la literie très confortable. Le dîner était parfait, huîtres de Cancale, chateaubriand mémorable et soufflé au Grand-Marnier. Personnel particulièrement souriant. Petit-déjeuner incontournable avec de délicieux produits locaux. Nous reviendrons. Merci pour ce bon moment

Hôtel bien situé.

La chambre et la salle de bain sont un peu petites. Des double rideaux se détachaient par endroits. Juste les remettre en place aurait suffit a donner une autre impression a la chambre a notre arrivée.
