This is the perfect place - clean and very cosy The apartment was in 3 floors perfect for a large family
US110 bucks for a room with a patio views of the Med. Pretty amazing. Rooms are great /a/c and shower works good /mini fridge and microwave. Boat rides to other towns and hiking the trails and towns all start in town.
This apartment is in an excellent location!
First of all, do not fall for the picture, there is NO view of the sea. Second, the reception is far from the rooms. The whole town is on a hill and the hotel rooms are up spiral stairs, so beware if you did not pack lightly, there is no elevator and no help (for free from the hotel). The manager/owner was completely awful to me when I inquired about my reservation being for 2 twin beds, which was not what we got. She kept telling me hotels.com did not confirm with her and made it seem like it was my fault. She then got a friend who spoke better English and then they talked about us in Italian in front of us. The room was extremely small. We barely had room to lay out suitcases, let alone move around. All that being said, we visited all 5 villages of Cinque Terre using the train day pass and Riomaggiore was my favorite, so I would recommend staying in the town, just not at this hotel!! Lots of great little restaurants and gelato places. Bar Zorza was our favorite spot. There are plenty others. So Riomaggiore = PERFECT!! Apartamente e Camere Edi = TERRIBLE!
overall good location for stay in Cinque Tere. Be ready for a lot of climbing of stairs.
Great experience at this place. It was we maintained, clean and in good location. That said, we wish the quality of bed could improve. Pillows were too thick and hard and the mattress was in two pieces making sleeping in the middle of the bed difficult.
Positives: Central location, perfect for accessing trains and ferries, easy check in, charming if tiny room, daily cleaning and fresh towels, free coffee machine Negatives: Kitchenette is shared and very tiny and contains sink and coffee machine only, no utensils, crockery, kettle or microwave etc so impossible to self cater at all. Standing room only, no table and chairs. We had a major water leak half way through our stay which resulted in a lot of noise and disruption over a couple of days but we’re not offered alternative accommodation.
This place is a dream. The apartment itself is adorable and feels very Italian. The views out of any window are breathtaking. The balcony overlooking the sea and the city, is well what you came all the way to Cinque Terre for. This apartment is not for people who struggle with stairs :)
I had a problems in their wifi service. Maybe the capacity was not enough, I could not use wifi half of the time. Even when I can use wifi, the speed was very low that I could not search information on our trip. The apartment was OK in condition. It was a studio with a small table and kitchen. But the kitchen did not have a microwave oven. The space was spacious enough and with that open space the owner could have put a couch or some other furniture to make the life more comfortable.
