It’s location was perfect, the view from our room was amazing!!

The view was great. Check in was smooth. Comfy bed!

I stayed in the Horizon apartment on the 6th floor with sea view and it was outstanding! The amazing view was the highlight. The wifi was good, the shower had plenty of warm water, and the bed was comfortable. The only negative was the strange occurrence at check-in. The attendant brought me to a different apartment that what I had booked and paid for. It was the much smaller and less expensive "Marina" apartment located directly below the Horizon apartment. Once I realized the mistake, I went back to the office to let them know. The attendant said that she could not put me in the Horizon apartment because the water heater was broken and needed to be fixed. They got me into the correct apartment the next day after the water heater was fixed, but only after I brought the matter up myself. They eventually made things right, but I should have been told about the situation up front, rather than them just putting me in a smaller, cheaper apartment and assuming that I would accept the change (even though I had already paid a premium for the bigger/nicer apartment). Other than that one negative, the staff were very nice and accommodating, even though there was a bit of a language barrier.

The view was fabulous although the photos are from a room on a floor higher than the one we had. There was mold in the bathroom and the lights in the kitchen/diining area and the bed area did not have covers just open bulbs. There were dead bugs between another light fixture an the wall. Some of the drywall was peeling and my guess is because there was mold behind it in in the kitchen area and a small spot in the bath. The steps to the room were expected but the height of each step would make it difficult for many to easily get up them. There was a porter service of 5 euros per bag to take the luggage from the check in office to the room. The room location from the check in office was down a hill, then down two short flights of stairs, across a tunnel, down a flight of stairs, down a long slope up a flight of stairs, up a slope all prior to getting to the stairs in the building. We had been to Riomaggiore but had not remembered there were so many stairs and hills to get to the location. Its a wonderful town but expect some climbing.

Excellent location! Nice place but dated in its style! Enjoyed the balcony overlooking the harbor! Easy to get everywhere!

The apartment is in need of refurbishment. Tap dripped constantly, and after 1 shower we ran out of hot water. The wifi was virtually non- existent.

Experience: excellent. View: amazing. Location: fantastic. We'd stay there again. Loved it.

The room was not as pictured. It was much farther away from the water than the picture showed. The room smelt bad on the first floor. Everything felt old and cheap.

Lovely apartment centrally located. Beautiful views. Our host was fantastic.
