We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at high grassings and we’re so glad we chose this location. The hosts were super welcoming, making our stay even more special. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had and the views from our room was superb. Thanks again, we’ll be back!!

"Perfect accommodation in the middle of meadows, yet still close to top attractions in the Lakes"

All went well, David was a fantastic host, always providing lots of good recommendations. The house is great too, with amazing views and short distance to Ambleside and other tourist places. Full English breakfasts were tasty and could be adjusted according to our needs.

The bathroom/toilet was not separated by doors from the rest of the room which might be uncomfortable for some people :) Otherwise all 100%!

Centrally located in Lake District near Ambleside, with delightful English breakfast. Spotlessly clean and comfortable room with superb views of farm surroundings. Welcoming hosts, Dave n Caris, shared helpful recommendations on places to visit, travel routes and restaurants.

Lovely stay and lovely host, Dave was more than happy to welcome us to High Grassings and recommended any places to go as we had never been to the lake district before. The rooms were very clean and homely. The House was only 15/20 minutes away from the towns and this made for a great escape surrounded by great scenery. Definitely recommend this stay!
