Beautiful building in a stunning location. Staff very nice.

Room 7 is really not suitable for 2 people. It is extremely small, with the shower in the actual bedroom (no en-suite type set up). The sink with a small mirror above is next to the shower cubicle in the bedroom. This cuts the space in the bedroom down by quite a bit. The toilet is next to the sink,in what only can be described as a cupboard. Absolutely no privacy (toilet situation)or room to move around. No full length mirror, and a tea/coffee station that to use,you have to lean over a bedside table,to be able to reach ,which is not ideal. The room would be fine for a single guest.

The room

Misleiding information at booking. Breakfast was included but on arrival was it restricted to a continental breakfast, we had to pay extra for cooked breakfast. No shelter available for 2 bicycles.

I didn't have breakfast but I did buy a meal the previous evening which was very nice.

I couldn't get the tv or room service to work unless I filled in a big online form which was ultra tedious after a long day. I was hoping for an easy process like in the good old days!

Thought the cost was a little high!

Stunning countryside!

The staff were incredibly welcoming and informative which was great. The room was really lovely, the bed was so comfortable we had the best night sleep in a long time! Beautiful products in the bathroom, so good I will be purchasing online! Dinner was delicious and very fast service.

We stayed in room number 2, which was a lovely room but it was quite loud with the bar being underneath us. Probably nothing you can do but worth mentioning! The breakfast options could have been more varied but we were happy with our croissants and tea.
