The food was excellent and table service also excellent. The room was comfortable and the bed exceptionally good.

The room showed signs of tiredness , damp spots and marks on the carpet. The bathroom had two lights not functioning. Although we do not place a high value on available toiletries, there were none available apart from hand soap whereas for a room of this price there always are elsewhere. So generally for the room price it did not reach the standard of equivalent inn/hotel accommodation. In conversation with a staff member we were told that the bedrooms were going to be refurbished in the near future.

Breakfast not served until quite late …. Not good for early starts on coast path. WiFi in the room was very weak.

It needs a good face-lift. Breakfast could be served earlier and quicker.

Sehr uriger Pub mit schönem Blick auf Corfe Castle bis nach Poole. Ein sehr altes Steinhaus. Sehr gemütlich.

Beautiful location, great breakfast, friendly staff. Plenty of parking outside property.
