Absolutely fantastic location, Lots of bars, restaurants & shops all within walking distance. The Old Black Horse itself is very clean & warm with friendly helpful staff at a reasonable price. Thoroughly recommend.

Tolle Lage nähe Magdalen College und Stadtzentrum, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar. Cafes und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Bequemes Bett und gute Ausstattung des Zimmers.

Erschütterung der Betten beim Durchfahren von grösseren Fahrzeugen. Konnten aber trotzdem schlafen. Dusche schwierig zum regulieren.

Excellent location

Probably a bit too basic for us now and unfortunately the black horse is situated within the congestion zone. It is not the fault of the property as they have no say in the matter but the congestion charge makes staying there also less desirable. You pay separately for the car parking when you arrive which we did know about which is on a daily basis and then we were also hit by the congestion charge which we did not know about when we booked. Bit annoying really as the black horse car park is only a short distance within the congestion zone.
