Holiday Inn Express Montgomery East I-85 by IHG

We were so well treated that we chose to stay here again on our way home.

The staff were all kind, friendly, respectful and doing a great job. The breakfast staff was keeping everything in good shape. The front desk workers were very helpful.

I like how the staff member handled my situation getting me out of room 1 and upgrading my room to a suite when room 1 was infested with gnats, and ants. Room 2: This room was very nice in that it was layed out nice, and had a nice view outside. I loved the shower and the supplies in the bathroom. They had hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Plenty of towels was provided.

My first room after I got settled in I noticed gnats and ants. At first I was going to try to stick it out, but once I got in bed, I noticed they were crawling in bed as well. I took a video and showed the staff. He initially told me they were booked and couldn't move me, and offered me linen to change the bed, which he tried to contact management to see what needed to be done to accommodate. Then he went up with me and saw for himself and he said this is unacceptable and I'll be right back with a key to another room. He handled it with. Room#2 I was upgraded to a suite, and it was nice. However, the AC was only in the bedroom portion and the sitting area was hot as a result of that. Additionally, the refrigerator had an odor, and the room itself had an odor. Luckily, I always travel with air freshener, so I was able to handle that.
