The resort is in a great area near Washington DC. was able to buy some books at Mahogany bookstore, eat good food at restaurants, and even buy some things at CVS. Great location

This has to be one of the worst designed hotels when it comes to managing elevator noise. Our family stayed 2 nights through an AirBNB timeshare reseller in a 2 BR suite. We were placed in room 610 which has the master bedroom sharing a wall with the elevator shaft. It was so loud and noisy that the headboard shook constantly (since the elevators were constantly running). I've never stayed in a mid range hotel (such as this) where some sort of non-lodging room was up against the elevator shaft (usually they will put housekeeping or a mechanical room there for good reason!). After the first night, I asked to change rooms, and they did find us a different room, though they seemed quite reluctant to do so. But, we were offered no assistance from any staff to move our belongings, just asked to "let us know when you're out of the room." I asked to speak to the manager about the terrible night's sleep. We left for the day before the manager was in, but was assured they would call my cell phone... no call received all day. The next morning when we were checking out I asked the same front desk staff why the manager didn't call and received no explanation. I asked them to cover my parking fee to compensate me for the terrible room, but was told they were unable to do that. I pointed out that the timeshare marketing people had offered to cover my parking if I attended the timeshare presentation but was told "that's a different department." Then the manager came in and I was able to talk to him. Though he seemed quite unapologetic for such a terrible noisy room, he did cover my parking in about 30 seconds on the computer.. so clearly the front desk staff was lying. Just another reason I would NEVER by a Wyndham timeshare. If I was an owner had was treated this way, it would be completely unacceptable. What a terribly designed hotel and they need to retrain their staff to handle these issues in a better and more customer-friendly way.

I loved the 2 bedroom suite had everything I needed like being at home. Thank you !!

The room had a smell that they could not get rid of

Check in/Out - Check in process is a scam. In order to get your hotel keys, they try and bribe you with "free" gifts but you have to sit down for a 90 min presentation. Do not fall into this scam, you're not getting anything free. If you don't buy into the timeshare scam, they charge you a $111 housekeeping fee they never mentioned at check-in and pretend like they made a mistake, but you can see straight through there lies. Parking isn't included so that's another charge. On last day of our stay, our check out was at 10am. Two Security guards came to our room banging on the door at 8:30am, telling us that we need to get out of our room, which we found was strange. We called the front desk and they were "confused" on why they were doing this, but either way this was totally UNACCEPTABLE. I could see if it was after 10am, but it wasn't. Room - Beds were comfy, rooms were modern, and it was a little on the smaller size for a two bedroom. Room wasn't cleaned as well, there was food stuck behind the handles of the cabinets, the shower door was broken, the outlets in the rooms did not work and only figured that out because our phone chargers didn't work in the outlets in the bedrooms but worked in the kitchen outlets. Amenities -Outdoor pool was said to be heated but was cold, hot tubs in both outdoor and indoor pool areas which were great and beside each pool. They had fenced in toddler pool. They had Lego room for kids and other gaming area's which were great if you planned to stay at the resort and could keep kids occupied. Amenities were plentiful and were the only pro about this in our eyes. We wouldn't stay in this area again though if we wanted to come back to DC. PS: We are timeshare owners with "Innseason" who are more family oriented. We exchanged some points in order to go to DC. In all my years owning with Innseason, I've never experienced them lying, bribing and being deceitful towards us in all of our many stays with them. They are welcoming, they go above and beyond for the families and are very personal. This stay made me realize that even more and I can honestly state we will never be staying at another Wyndham again.

We had a great stay! Room was nice and clean, and a great area around the property. We enjoyed our stay in National Harbor.

Traveled for one week family vacation much needed. This hotel met my expectations. My family were happy throughout the stay. No problems occurred at all. I understand that we visit the area during off season. But plenty of museums to visit at the big city capital. The bedrooms were ventilated very well to my surprise. No moldy smell or humidity.
