Great service, amazing staff. Loads of vegetarian options. Secluded from the rest of the world this place is a gem and the perfect getaway if you just want to exist on an island. There are plenty water and land activity’s and I would highly recommend for an escape. Great for singles, families and couples

Loved this property! Really great value on room rate, but they charge quite a bit for transfers to get to the resort even though it's easily accessible from the airport and other parts of the island. Tons of fun activities right at the resort (amazing diving & snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, etc...) Enjoyed the pool, hammocks, & nice sandy beach. The staff was excellent and really made the experience even better! Highly recommend and would definitely return.

A small relaxing resort with very accommodating staff, the spa on the water was exceptional. We would have loved to stay longer but they were booked up.

This resort is incredible! The staff, location, food... everything was top notch! Definitely a 5 star experience and we hope to make it back one day!

The place is awesome, just too far away from center and other Coron attractions.

Nice hotel, close to the beach n roomy. Better though if more trees were planted in front and f the main restaurant (being renovated)

My wife and I had an amazing time at El Rio. The beautiful setting speaks for itself, and I believe it is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The staff is phenomenal. They are so friendly and helpful that it truly adds to the overall experience. My wife and I stayed here 3 years ago, and we joked that it was paradise with really mediocre food. Totally different experience this time. The cuisine was excellent, and I am excited that they have made such big improvements to the menu quality. Can’t wait to book our next visit!

Nice and beautiful resort - the only minus was a rat we saw in the resturant during dinner running below the tables...
