This nice, relatively small and well maintained hotel offers everything you need. Enjoy the outstanding hospitality of a wonderful team and an excellent kitchen. We had a beautiful room on the second floor wiht a spacious balcony and a wonderful view of the beach and the ocean. The rooms was nice and very clean. We can just recommend this place! Nothign to critizice at all.

We stay to this hotel for two weeks in middle of July.We enjoy every minute of our stay. From the reception, to the boys and girls in restaurant, the cleaning team, the Kinando this very special Massai man, the Frank the man behind everything and of course the Samson. The general manager with solutions for everything. The hotel is on the beach, very clean , with spacious rooms. A little tired but in good condition. We stayed under all inclusive package. The food was fresh cooked every day and was tasty. The only proposal is to change the menu week by week. As we stayed for two weeks, after the first week you have to taste the same. Of course we will have to thank all the team for the dinner of my wife's name day as well as the last complimentary dinner with the huge " Sardine". If you like to hear only the sound of silence, this is the place. Long walks on the white sandy beach, thousands of coconut, clear waters and the spirit of Africa everywhere. We arrived here at night and the room were a bit outdated but cosy and large. But, the service makes up for that. The staff is exceptional. We were welcomed and the staff were so helpful. During the day you get a different feel of the hotel. There's a pool and you're right off the beach. The food is good. The staff made our stay welcoming and memorable.

Great time in this human scale hotel , with great service , and great place . We have stayed Ten Days , i was a great experience , really peacefull. The staff is really sympathic , and we had great surprise form the staff during our romantic stay.

Was our plan with my wife more that three years corona disturbed our plan We appreciate a lot for the whole staff working Albatross for making our holiday memorable. Thank you Samson for advice when we were thinking to cancel our booking to Zanzibar and your free Transport from Airport which was suprise as we didnt expect you to come and drive us. We will reccommend this place to any one looking for private and relaxing to come to this place My small advice is food to offer more fish as you are always looking the sea. We will come back for sure

Horrendous accommodation and customer service! I booked a family room and arrived from another country to be put in a different room with just one bed. Also according to my booking there was no prepayment needed and you could pay at the property. As I was booking for a group I didn't mind this arrangement since we could all pay when we arrived. I should have known there was an issue when money was removed from my account several days in advance of my booking. I tried to contact the property but I did not get a response. When I arrived and saw that there were two less beds than booked I was very confused. They kept delaying dealing with the money issue. The internet rarely works so we could not even contact the driver to have him return and take us elsewhere and the manager would not do much or return our money. The service was horrible and the manager kept trying to insist that nothing could be done and he made these decisions to switch the rooms so he refused to compensate us. After several hours we were finally given a honeymoon suite to stay in with less beds than agreed upon and dinner for each day we were there. I was not on a honeymoon and went from 3 beds to a cozy honeymoon bed. To come from other countries and be stuck without the room you booked and money removed from an account you never approved was horrendous. To make it worse the wifi rarely works so we were stuck and in a difficult position. The hotel has little to offer. It is on a beautiful beach but you can see that beach in many other ways. The food is cold so there is no telling how long it's been sitting out. They won't offer an iron or anything in your room and will charge you for that. They forgot the garbage bin, soap, shampoo and conditioner from the room. There is no phone or any way of reaching someone for service. If there is a problem the workers look SCARED and can't do anything to help so they rely on the manager who will refuse to help you! He makes unprofessional decisions and yells if you try to ask him to fix it. I actually think he just does not know what he is doing and puts incorrect information online because he may not be aware of what to do and rather than take responsibility he yells and talks down to women. The room will not have blankets so come prepared if you need them. Toiletries will be sparse and it will be hard to reach anyone for help. The one day I did allow housekeeping I returned to a pile of dead bees on the bathroom floor. I'm not sure how they got there or why they were dead. The sheets were also stained. Blood was on the bedding. During check out they mentioned a tourist fee that had to be paid for staying there. I had never been told about any other fees during my booking or my stay so I'm not sure if this was something they forgot to tell me or something they made up. Stay away from this hotel and try your best to not have to deal with Mr.Samson the manager especially if you are a woman who doesn't want to be mistreated. The positives about this location are the beach is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The service by G or Jean and especially Edward was great. I will always remember Edwards' smiling face and the great service he offered even during my worst times at this place.

Well-maintained. Staff very helpful and friendly. Always kind and offering a helping hand. No barfridge in the room. Suggestion- kettle and coffee/ tea/ sugar in the room.

Kleines,familiärens Hotel. Sofort nach Ankunft wie zu Hause gefühlt. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich,stets lächelnd. Alle Zimmer mit Meerblick,sauberer kleiner Pool. Essen im Restaurant ist in Ordnung.

Is excellent good place for family staff is very good and friendly,food is excellent,room space is big enough.thanks to Samson manager his very kind manager I have met for sure I will come back to this place thanks to all staff.hakuna matata zanzibar
