We had a wonderful two nights in the Villa La Mirabella. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the location was amazing - the view from the pool was priceless. The Villa is located within easy walking distance of two boat stops making touring the lake delightful. We left our car parked and didn't move it once. Local eating places are 2 minutes away. When we arrived i was disappointed that the Villa was on a road with quite a lot of traffic on it - this was not a problem - we could not hear it from the hotel. I don't often fill in feedback forms but we had such a wonderful stay here that I wanted others to enjoy it too. Would definitely go back.
Overall, the hotel was great but we stayed during a very hot spell and the a/c was not really up to the job. The hotel provided us with an additional fan and we were comfortable. The breakfast was good and the service was excellent. The vening meal was very good but there is no choice, so it is important to check what is on offer each day. The swimming pool was great with spectacular views over the lake and there was another quiet spot in the garden above the pool with even better views of the lake. Fimally, but most important, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and most helpful. Highly recommended.

The Mirabella is a beautiful, immaculate 11 room villa. The elegant brothers that run it are more than gracious for every request. 2 minute walk to the ferry with quick access to any town. No words to describe the view.
The hotel was everything that was advertised. It is a beautiful villa with eleven rooms on the main street facing Lake Como and Bellagio. Everything about it is lovely -- the furnishing, the dining area with spectacular views, the swimming pool and the adjacent gardens on the hillside behind. It is just steps away from the ferry to Bellagio, a 12 minute ride across the nine-tenths of a mille across the lake. And, the convienence of the parking garage cannot be overemphasized. And the staff could not have been more accommodating. The main host, Paolo, is such a gracious gentleman who always is available and is so helpful in every way. We could not have been more pleased by our stay at Villa La Mirabella.
The Hotel is a beautifully restored villa in a wonderful setting with lovely views. A very peaceful place in which to relax especially after a day out and about. There is a stepped garden at the back away from the road with a pleasant pool and lounge seats. It has uninterrupted views of the lake and mountains on the other side and gets the sun until early evening. The gardens have several quiet places to sit and relax as well. All the rooms are a good size and spotless and we had one with a small balcony. They are all different and retain the character of the villa. Breakfast was continental with fresh hot food available to order at a supplement. The family who own and manage the hotel were always available and happy to help in any way. There are some restaurants and small shops close by and a lovely walk for as far as you care to go along the edge of the lake. There are two ferry terminals withis 5-10 minutes walk taking you to lots of other places on the lake. There is also a bus service close by. As we weren't driving this was the perfect place to stay. Very relaxing but with easy access to other places. We would love to go back.
The Villa La Mirabella is a lovely B&B in the very low-key town of Cadenabia on Lake Como. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well appointed. Breakfast is delicious. And the pool is a special treat, overlooking the lake. I had a wonderful stay here!
I enjoyed the stay, and the hotel amply met me expectations. I'd recommend you pay for a cheaper room at the back of the hotel, since the lakeside view is also a busy and noisy roadside one, and you can view the view of the lake over breakfast! If you're a vegetarian, don't go for the 24-euro dinner, as they served a plate of chopped tomato and mozarella, when other guests were given expensive-looking meat (and a more imaginative salad too)!
