Villa La Mirabella

The Villa La Mirrabelle is a delightful family run hotel which is spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated in harmony with the Villa's history. We received a warm welcome from our charming hosts. We had the swimming pool to ourselves on several occasions - it enjoys a wonderful position, set high in the garden above the villa overlooking the lake. We enjoyed a good breakfast each day and would recommend booking dinner - sitting in the beautiful dining room enjoying simple well-cooked food was a great experience. A great location for couples looking for something a little different but probably not for families. T

The brothers were as warm, attentive and courteous as could possibly be. The location is in the heart of the high rent district...but the cost is very modest. With this beautiful villa comes a gourmet breakfast and a perfect view. This villa is right on Lake Como. Couldn't have been a better experience. Everything is convenient from this location and it is directly across from Bellagio, the top high rent district.

The Villa La Mirabella is a perfect choice. It is located waterfront, with large windows in the dining area to gaze at the lake. There is a lovely outdoor patio area, and a landscaped area with a walking trail behind the hotel. The desk staff is courteous and friendly, although the evening person spoke very limited English. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. The ferry, bus, and tour boat locations are all a short walk from the hotel. There are only a few shops and restaurants nearby, but it was sufficient for us.

Family run hotel who couldn't do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble. Location is perfect, beautiful views and great for visiting all towns close by

Good location, immaculate property with great attention to detail and service. Attentive hosts. Room 8 is on the top floor with views from the side of the property to the lake overlooking the gardens. Own balcony. Slightly quieter than being front on to the lake as there is a busy road all around the lake which is hard to avoid.

Words cannot fully describe the excellence and the customer service of this most beautiful Hotel. We felt the level of customer service was exceptional in all areas. The food was total heaven cooked personally by a member of the family. The dining room was exquisite with a most enchanting view over Lake Como. Dinner was served personally by Paulo one of the owners. Every day a 3 course evening meal is carefully prepared and guests have the option of eating and enjoying the wonderful ambience of the dining room. The room was ultra clean and very comfortable with no noise. The Hotel has its own free underground car park which is a must as parking is chargeable on the roads nearby. There is a delightful garden with a pool overlooking the lake. This hotel is run by an exceptional Italian family who really know how to look after people and offer the very best in all areas of the hotel.

We had three very enjoyable nights at Villa La Mirabella where we received exceptional personal service from the owners. The hotel was beautifully maintained and in a great location - only short walk to the ferry to Bellagio. We had dinner in on our last night and the table d'hote menu was very good. We would recommend this hotel to others.

Me and my wife booked a room for our anniversary and we loved it; the staff was great and the hotel elegant. The hotel is located just a few steps from one of the ferry's stops which makes getting around the other towns very easy.

Newly renovated hotel family owned with free parking. The service is sublime and the people just wonderful I cannot recommend this hotels enough. Furthermore placed well, close to the ferry to Bellagio and Varenna.
