Scarborough Beach Resort Brisbane

Beautiful room with a gorgeous view. I wish I had booked for longer and will definitely be back. The apartment was much bigger than expected and had a lovely coastal feel throughout. The large master bedroom had stunning ocean views and opened onto a spacious veranda, which also adjoined the open-plan dining and lounge area. The other two bedrooms were also a great size, making it perfect for families or groups. Overall, a fantastic stay in a beautiful location. Highly recommend! 🌊☀️🏖️

While the accommodation itself was spacious and in a great location, there were a couple of disappointing issues during our stay. The hot tub in the pool area was advertised as heated, however it was not hot and wasn't even warm enough to enjoy as expected. We also found the bath tub in our room had not been cleaned properly. There was hair left behind from previous guests and we had to scrub the tub ourselves before we felt comfortable using it. Overall, the property has a lot of potential, but better attention to cleanliness and ensuring advertised facilities are functioning as described would greatly improve the guest experience.

The position

The unit was old and tired! Stove top needs replacing, table tops inside and out marked and not clean Roll out for $50 for one night was broken and unable to be used!

It is very well set up and comfortable. The staff were incredibly responsive to help me troubleshoot a couple of things. Easy access to park and beach.

It isn't the quietest location - not just busy street noise but all manner of machinery in the park across the road from early Monday morning.

Great size rooms, the front staff were excellent, and lovely cafes.

The Pillows

Location

Horrible room with tiny window. No tissues. No soap dish in shower. Only one battered bed side lamp. No chair except an office chair and small table jammed awkwardly into corner, TV on walk not opposite bed. Door key hard to operate. Whole place run down and the only attraction, spa/pool was closed. Truly ridiculous parking situation - it’s a busy area and there is no access to parking until you have checked in and you may have to park a long way off. Same at cgeckout - you have to take your car from the underground carpark and find street parking before going back to check out! Very hard on the elderly and in bad weather. To be fair, Imthink there are better rooms than mine in the building - I was obviously fobbed off with the sort of room too often given to solo travellers - but in no sense is this unwelcoming place a resort, as advertised, and I would not stay there again. It seems to operate more like an apartment block than a resort.

Great location, had stayed previously

Kitchen not clean, had to wash cutlery and plates before use, kettle had food on outside Shower was old and tired The whole apartment is now looking very tired and aged requiring a refresh.
