A little understaffed but service was ok.

Stunning visually. We stayed in the manor house which was glorious. Gorgeous fireplaces and windows throughout. The bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable and clean. Great size TV in bedroom - this is often skimped on elsewhere. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful - someone does an amazing job of maintaining these and landscaping all around. Excellent welcome from FOH team. Fabulous breakfast - some really great choices and plenty of it. All well presented.

There was glitter, confetti, rubbish and coat hangers, all across the floors in the main areas and corridor of the manor house we stayed in plus cigarette butts in the entrance to it. Some of the sofas in the bar area were threadbare, with empty beer boxes under the seats. There was no notice of last orders - all of a sudden the shutters came down, and they started vacuuming around us. This was not late at night!

Spa was great. Spa staff very friendly. Beds really comfy. Plenty of parking .

No fruit in Pimm’s ! Shower not particularly clean. Food ok, but breakfast disappointing. Not enough staff. Milk in paper cups , no jugs. Hot buffet cold. No sugar on tables.

Very attentive,there was no still water, so manager brought filtered in a jug himself

There should have been still water inbfridge already, so ì didnt hàve to bother staff, also booking.com had not told hotel i neede a downstairs room!!! Thats booking.coms fault not hotels fault

Bed super comfy and staff are really friendly and happy to help.

Food was ok, although struggle to cook medium rare steak. It is the attention to detail that is diminishing the hotel. Bar napkins in the restaurant, using wooden stir-sticks instead of tea spoons. Couch bed in room, not comfortable to sit on.
