The hosts were lovely. Negative points: although it is advertised as providing air conditioning, this service is available at an extra cost of $30.00/day. Again, it is advertise as providing wi-fi services. However, these must be be contracted from the provider, at $50.00 per 500 MB ( it is painfully slow). The villas are nice, but crammed together. They are extremely hot during the day and air does not circulate easily. The shower temperature is difficult to regulate. Hot water comes in waves. The villa provides kayaks, ridge shoes and videos. There are three (or four? can't remember) kayaks, all for one person and one for three persons, none for two.

Nice location and a lovely warm welcome when we arrived! We had the use of snorkeling gear and kayaks. Unfortunately the dogs in the area kept us up barking, so not the Cooks Oasis fault! Also our fan wasnt very good, it couldn't sustain the higher speed and kept slowing down then speeding back up. Overall a nice place to stay.
Close to beach, great area for snorkeling, nice hot shower, very comfortable bed.
very well located to the centre of everything Villas were clean and well keep, they were serviced every 3 days. Lots of Watersport equipment for guests to use Owners were very friendly and easy to speak too. They booked all our excursions for us. Easy walking distance to lovely restaurants
Great quiet location, very welcoming and helpful owners. Would definitely stay here again. Basic but comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.
The unit is half way down a short lane which ends at the beach, so no road noise . From the beach swing provided by the resort we saw Southern Right Whales on 6 of the 7 days. The lagoon is swallow enough to walk around without needing flippers to cross the reef. There are enough small topical fish to satisfy the normal snorkeler. There are 7 restaurants within walking distance and the bus stop is beside the lane.
We were two old friends heading away for a few days. This place was cheap and cheerful. The managers and the communication was outstanding, the place was clean and tidy. It was a short walk to the beach on what I believe is the better side of the island. I wouldn't really recommend it families as the pool is. very small. But it was great for two old girls who wanted to get away.
Nice clean villas and owners where very accommodating.
The new hotel owners are working hard upgrading this already nice little hotel. The only improvement that I felt was needed was a new mattress (ours had no support, it just sunk in). Matt and Adele were friendly and helpful, and had two adorable cocker spaniels that are great with kids. The room was spacious and very clean. The location is next to a quiet, secluded section of beach. We were frequently the only people on the beach, as opposed to the beaches outside the resorts that were busier. This meant seeing a lot more fish when snorkeling.
