The Cooks Oasis

We loved our stay at the Cooks Oasis Holiday Villas. The room was spacious and clean, and the beach as well as some restaurants and a bakery were within walking distance. The owner was super friendly and helpful and made sure that our stay was enjoyable and we had everything we needed. We were able to use reef shoes/ snorkeling gear and thought that the beach right in front of the Cooks Oasis was the best for snorkeling (better than other beaches on the island). We found the location very convenient and would definitely stay again when we come back to Rarotonga.

Very clean and tidy rooms, excellent hosts in Matt and Adele, who had fantastic communication right from the start before we even arrived. Everything you could ask for without a doubt. Location is brilliant, close enough to the airport to be handy and a lovely stroll through the palms to the beach. Beautiful.

Cooks Oasis was the second place we stayed in Rarotonga, and while it wasn’t as grand as our first AirBnB, it was charming and a good value, and the owners were friendly. We picked it so that we would have pool access, which didn’t pan out (massive rains). But we did take advantage of their massive DVD library which came in handy when the weather didn’t cooperate. The 1-BR was comfortable for my husband, daughter, and I, but we should note it’s note a full barrier (and definitely nig soundproof if you are seeking privacy). Had the weather been better for the two nights we were there, we would have liked to use their kayaks or snorkeled out by their shore. Oh well, next time!

Great place to stay. Owners were friendly, accommodations had everything I needed. Mostly a family vibe. Laundry, dvds, and reef shoes were a nice touch. Enjoyed my stay, just wish it were easier on the wallet 😁 Internet is twice as much as bluesky, so beware. Seemed to drain much faster than my actual usage, but you’re not in the cook’s for the internet!!

Very clean and the owners are great people. Great place to go and relax. Get a vehicle when you go, either a car of scooter as the bus's always seem full when we want to travel.

The staff were so friendly and helpful.... you didn't need to make our bed and change the towels every day, but hey.. we're not complaining... The beach is about 200m down the walkway...... There's a shop over the road that sells most {some] stuff, and a bakery and pub about 5 mins walk away.... The pub has "O"rsome burgers....... The bus stop is about 2 mins walk from the resort..... You'll need a rental car if you stay here, but hey, there's plenty of secure parking..

Matt and Adelle met us on arrival, and were perfect hosts. We were looked after from day one and nothing was too much bother. The room was serviced three times in the week to a high standard. A nice setting, literally just a few metres from the beach.

Very nice and well looked after. The lady running it was realy friendly

Didn't enjoy our stay, moved from Villa 5 due to heat to Villa 6 which was a little bit cooler (sort of) there were hidden costs that was not mentioned when we booked. 1) Pay $30 per day for air con (paid for 3 days of air con & it blew the air from outside in, it wasn't working) 2) Pay for usage of water - paid $36 (it's not much but I was gobbed smacked) - Dogs barking & fighting (from the neighbors) - Got eaten alive from mosquitoes (unsure if its due to the motel) that was my 2nd time in Rarotonga & this was the worse I've been bitten. I really wanted to leave this place day 2 the heat in these top Villas was real bad Thanks to Debbie for trying her hardest to keep us as comfortable as she could, she was wonderful.

MY STAY AT THE COOKS OASIS HOLIDAY VILLAS WAS PLEASANT FROM THE TIME OF BEING PICKED UP FROM THE AIRPORT AND TAKEN TO MY GARDEN VILLA.
