The Rim Resort

Beautiful facility with spacious clean rooms and plentiful amenities. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Pool was wonderfully refreshing as we were there during the hottest time of year. The welcome refreshments were also a wonderful treat. Location is very convenient for sightseeing too, with plenty of temples within walking distance and a free shuttle to the night market every evening. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed 4 nights, lovely hotel. Nice big rooms, very clean as well. Nice pool and sun beds area. Really good breakfast, lots of options including freshly cooked eggs. The staff were all excellent, very polite and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone including families.

Really lovely hotel, ideally positioned on edge of the old town. Large rooms with ensuite, minibar,comfortable beds and we opted for balcony. Central pool feature really is an oasis of calm...and although small, is really special. The building itself has a real thai feeling to it, including a lot of wood and stone carvings. My companions appreciated the gym facilities and daily activities organised by staff.

I probably spend 180 days a year in hotels all over the globe. Nearly all of them talk about your being their"guest". I think this is probably one of the very few where I actually felt like a guest. The people were so kind and helpful, the service was exceptional and the rooms and grounds just plain beautiful. It felt like a small oasis from a bygone age. The rooms were cool, comfortable and quiet, the bar and restaurant were great value and very tasty food. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the city and taking excursions as well as convenient for the airport.I honestly cannot think of anything to suggest as room for improvement.

Spent 4 nights in ground floor room. Room large with patio overlooking the pool. Hotel good location for walking to things I wanted to see. Staff very friendly and helpful. Took free shuttle to night market. Also shuttle to nearby airport. Breakfast at restaurant next door only ok.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at The Rim Resort Hotel in Chiang Mai during our recent trip to Thailand. This is a fantastic boutique hotel in the city but far enough away from any noise. The hotel is an oasis of calm and relaxation. We had a grand deluxe room with a great balcony, the room had everything we could possibly wish for, it was very comfortable and spacious with a great bathroom (shower and bathtub), the hotel is spotlessly clean and kept to a very high standard. The breakfast options are great with lots of choices including vegetarian. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to help in any way they can, everyone we met who worked at the hotel, reception staff, cleaning staff, night security man, hotel drivers were all extremely helpful and polite. The hotel organised our half day at the elephant sanctuary which is a must if in Chiang Mai, they also arrange a bus every night at 7pm you can book onto that takes you down to the night market again, this is a must visit. The pool and pool area are wonderful for a peaceful dip to cool off. We stayed during the New Year celebrations and the hotel had a brilliant New Year's Eve meal and entertainment for all the guests. We will definitely come back to The Rim next time we visit Chiang Mai and highly recommend this hotel. This place is so cute! I loved everything about it. Super close to town and many beautiful temples! The staff was so friendly! My favorite part was the amazing breakfast buffet, there’s a little something for everyone and everything was so delicious!

Great hotel, excellent staff. We would definitely stay again.
