Nafplia Palace Hotel & Villas

Nice view, main hotel needs updating. Villas portion looked updated.

the best part of this property is its location and the view. Also the staff and the service is outstanding!! but some of the rooms are old and need a serious update . Also only one elevator is working.

The hotel is in a great location overlooking the bay and town of Nafplio. Tremendous views . The hotel is a little tired in that the basic maintenance is not being done , such as re painting the wood work attending to the garden , furnishings . Also the Wi Fi did not work in our room the whole week we were there .

Beautifully overlooks Napflio and provides a quiet place away from the fast pace of the city. The elevator to the city wasn't working. Very nice breakfast.

Beautiful property. Need to fix elevator to town. Breakfast needs more imagination and variety every day,

Staff was amazing as was the view. Food was delicious and our location was just perfect. Deeply appreciated the upgrade.

On arrival we were upgraded from ‘bungalow’ with shared pool to one with private pool - great we thought but this was because our original rooms were being renovated. If we wanted to use our private pool we would be charged an additional 85euros per day to heat it (in April this would be necessary!). Rooms are very nice and spacious. Basic room cleaning but we only ever saw one lady doing the rounds and then doing the weeding along the way. Our room safe didn’t work on arrival but was fixed the following day. Views beautiful, except for 2 industrial dredgers at work from dusk til dawn but this of course is not the hotels fault.Technology in the rooms took a good 5/10mins instruction- good luck remembering it all, pretty much trial and error. Breakfasts basic buffet, no freshly cooked eggs etc. Superb location above the old town, but only if the lifts are operational otherwise it’s a taxi ride or long walk down/up. Only one lift out of three worked on our arrival, then that broke. WiFi does not exist even though you are given the codes, only in the lobby - they apparently they ask the technician to look into it but don’t expect anything. Overall, this hotel could be the 5 star you expect it to be, but I’m guessing it’s the management who let the running of the place down badly. Lovely helpful chap who seemed to do everything from front of house, luggage porter, concierge and general Mr Nice Guy, but he can only do so much.

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at Nafplia Palace! Our room was upgraded to a villa which was spacious and luxury. The staff was very polite and service was very good. We will definitely visit the hotel again!

Drainage in the bathroom had a real problem. Otherwise, the room was great and the view fantastic.

The room was not was showed in the site of hotels.com , also there was no wi-fi at all.
