Hotel Villa Telenta

Fantastisk med morgenbad like nedenfor hotellet. Personlig og bra service, god frokost inkludert. Kort vei til strand og taxi-båt til sentrum. Vela Luka er en stille og rolig havneby.

Vela Luka is a beautiful harbour town on the island of Korcula. The villa is situated on the entrance to the harbour and was an easy 20 min stroll into town or if you are feeling lazy water taxi's are available to take you across the harbour. There is a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops in Vela Luka and is well situated for trips to the islands of Proizd and Vis and the blue caves which are spectacular. All in all a very pleasant introduction to Croatia and looking forward to visiting this lovely country again.

Un appartement d'hôtes moderne, situé dans un jardin agréable (des oliviers en terrasse) avec vue sur la baie de Vela Luka, qui est très belle. Des hôtes gentils et attentionnés. Mais située assez à l'écart du centre et très mal signalé (nous avons perdu un temps considérable à le localiser). Et en face, de l'autre côté de la baie, une usine moche devant laquelle des camions viennent décharger des pierres tôt le matin. Et si vous êtes fâchés avec les escaliers, et endroit n'est pas pour vous !

Owners made us feel very welcome. We stayed for a week, and loved it. Weather was perfect, room was spacious with balcony overlooking the sea. Walked into town and back most evenings, good choice of restaurants and bars, only 20 mins each way.. We also enjoyed a BBQ at the villa which we would highly reccomend . Hired a boat for the day to visit other islands nearby, hired a scooter, and went round the whole island, Verukula worth a visit. Took a picnic to the nearest beach within walking distance and swam from the steps at the villa.

Overnattet der i 6 netter. Personlig service, hjemmelagd frokost på terassen, tilbud om hjemmelagd middag. Fiskemiddagen var perfekt. Stedet anbefales på det sterkeste. Vi drar tilbake neste år.

I Made the riservation expecting to find a small family hotel. I found a small studio in a tipical croatian apartmant. Far from the village but...not far enough. if you are looking for a secluted place, better find something different. Boats and ferries sailing very close....nice and kind owner.

There is a very pleasant access to swim in the sea (from rocks and a platform) right by the villa and a pebble beach with beach bar, pedalos etc. 200m away. There is also a water taxi service every 15 mins to the centre of Vela Lucka (2 minutes by boat). If you like running or walking, there is a nice walk of about 2 miles towards the end of the harbour and 1 mile to the centre of the town. The car ferries come close and are loud but there are only a couple a day and they dont run overnight so this isnt a major problem. The proprieter is very friendly and helpful and made us a lovely breakfast and a fantastic (and very good value) dinner. However, our room was quite basic. (Although it had two rooms, one of them wasnt very useful because water from the air conditioner leaked into it.) The bedroom was OK but cramped for 3 of us. There was also a TV and fridge,

We had a very pleasant stay at villa telenta, the couple running the place was super friendly and helpful with everything, the villa is right on the water, internet connection was not good and the bedroom had no AC or fan but it didnt bother us too much since everything else was perfect

Todella siisti, uusi talo, jossa monta huoneistoa. Hieno näköala. Aamiainen kuului hintaan ja oli hyvä (tee/kahvi, leivät, marmeladi/voi/sulatejuusto, leikkeleet, persikkanektari, paistettu kananmuna). Kävelymatka Vela Lukan keskustasta noin 25 min, mutta vesitaksilla pääsee myös edullisesti lahden yli. Rauhaa rakastavan unelma. Emäntä ystävällinen, mutta etäinen.

We had a great week staying at Villa Telenta. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay I highly recommend Vela Luka. The owners were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast (and dinner, if you pay extra) is served outside on the balcony/patio overlooking the sea. You can swim right by the place, just go down about 20ish steps to the water... bring swimming shoes though as there are lots of sea urchins! Air con and wi-fi plus a fridge in our room and a drying rack on our patio
