Hotel Villa Telenta

A nice hotel close to the center by a taxi boat. And the cheap taxiboat is an extra flavour for this nice hotel.. Beautiful view over the bay from almost all rooms.

Es handelt sich um kein Hotel, sondern es sind nur Ferienwohnung mit Selbstreinigung. Es gibt keine Rezeption, wenig Parkplätze. Diese Unterkunft kann nur als Übernachtung genutzt werden, zum Baden oder Relaxen eher ungeeigent. Die Lage ist in einem Industriefährhafen. In der gegenüberliegenden Fischfabrik läuft von morgens bis nachts ein Dieselaggregat und der relativ hohe Schiffsverkehr macht ein geruhsames Baden oder Schnorcheln unmöglich.

Bra stor lägenhet och trevligt värdpar. Läget uppe på klipporna vid inloppet till Vela Luka ger en fantastisk utsikt men även en bit att gå till centrum. Bad några hundra meter bort. Wifi fungerade dåligt när vi var där. Vet inte om detta var en engångsföreteelse eller om det är bristfälligt.

Trevlig personal, trevlig bemöttande. Fin lägenhet med en stor balkong och underbar utsikt mot stan, havet och solnergång. Rekommenderar att boka med frukost! Bara några trappsteg när till den lilla promenadsvägen och för kunna bada. Några minuter gångavstand till taxibåten om man inte vil gå runt hamnbassängen varje dag (lång promenad). Det ända som inte fungerade fulländat var spisen som var super trögt. Och att vi hade ett bord på entrésidan (mot receptionen) direkt framför lägenheten där man inte fick sitta och äter (vet inte varför). Men vi vill absolut rekommendera detta hotellet! Och ön Korcula! Mycket trevligare och mysigare än Hvar om man gillar det lite lugnare och med mindre touristström.

Villa Telenta er en plass vi vil anbefale til alle som ønsker et koselig opphold i Vela Luka. Det er kort vei til alt som foregår i Vela Luka, fine solings og badeplasser, veldig koselig vertskap og fine rom. Mvh tilfres par fra Norges vestkyst.

Villa Telenta is a pretty new, nice, quiet apartment guest house situated 20m from the water front in Vela Luka. Vela Luka is a small port town with all necessary shops on the harbour front. Villa Telenta is run by a very hospitable, generous and service minded couple. The apartments are clean and functional and have outside spots with table and chairs. The breakfast is served at a set table and has a set menu, but the hostess is eager to please her guests' small change requests. It is easy to feel welcome at Villa Telenta. We were a family of 4 (parents and kids of 10 and 13) visiting for 14 days. We wanted a relaxing stay away from the stress of the tight time schedules, and got exactly what we wanted. It is indeed possible to have dinner at Villa Telenta, but it has to be agreed on the day before. The hostess is a good chef, and the food is tasty and prepared in a efficient way to get the most from the ingredients, which are fresh and local, some of them even from the estate. It is Korcula home made cooking at its very best. Most visitors to Villa Telenta are adult couples, and due to some unsecured staircases we think that it may be difficult with younger children. Other than that, the place is warmly recommended and if we visit Korcula again, we will surely come back to this hospitable place.

A lovely spot on the water. The taxi boat into town was very convenient and regular... Much cheapler than a regular taxi. Our host was very helpful and provided a generous breakfast each morning. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. The only downside was the wifi was very intermittent and not reliable.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Telenta. It was very hot and sunny and the air conditioning in the rooms very welcome. We were upgraded for the first 3 days and that gave us a top floor apartment with a fantastic view of the estuary. Irene and Mario are lovely welcoming hosts and it was a memorable holiday. The economy room was small but I loved it with it's rustic terrace. There is swimming just below the hotel from the rocks, the sea is amazing. Food in the restaurants in Vela Luka is good value. The water taxi is delightful - a great place for a relaxing 'away from it all' break. Cannot wait to go back!

Excellent location with balcony overlooking sea and town, well proportioned space, friendly owner, ate in, meals well cooked regional fare

This hotel is a find! The rooms up top are spacious and clean with marvelous views. Irena (I think!)- the owner- offered us homemade wine and offered to cook us dinner for 20 euros each. It was worth it! There is a path from the hotel to the water and being in quiet Vela Luka was completely what we envisioned.
