Ryokan Kohro

Great ryokan.

Great location, traditional Japanese experience, and wonderful staff!

Staff were great, lots of shopping and eating nearby. Facilities are a little old, but clean and very comfortable.

Traditional Japanese hotel with very polite staff. In the middle of the market place, easy to go anywhere.

All in one big bedroom with no living or dining area.

We loved the Ryokan Kohro! From the moment we arrived the staff was warm and welcoming, our room very comfortable, and the set Japanese breakfast each morning was delicious…the best part was the cedar bath/onsen which we used each night. We will definitely be back!

The location was great! And staff were very kind. The space was cozy and confident and the dinner was amazing. I had a experienced Japan culture and having good memory. I want to go to Kyoto again.

Bathroom was not clean..

Tatami room was beautiful, traditional and spacious. Staff was very welcoming and prepared a welcome tea for us upon arrival. Onsen is nice. The Ryokan is located perfectly on a quiet and chique street just outside nishiki market.

The staff was very friendly and very convenient to all the locations I want to visit. The dinner and breakfast was very good and tasty

The bathroom handle was broken when I got in the room.

Incrível! Todos muito simpáticos e tentam ao máximo te agradar. Tudo é muito tradicional mas nada é velho, tudo novo e muito bem cuidado! Muito bom, experiência incrível de um local tradicional japonês.
