Hotel Sacristía de Santa Ana

Nice hotel, laid out around a small internal courtyard, facing out onto the busy plaza formed by Alameda de Hercules. So, if you would like to end the day in a local bar/tapas place, absorbing the Spanish family atmosphere after a day sightseeing in the centre then there are some marvellous places in the streets around this hotel. Good breakfast and staff could not have been friendlier.

great location, fantastic hotel

we stayed twice on our recent trip - staff friendly and very helpful. Excellent location. Our first stay - room felt a little claustrophobic as the shuttered window opened onto the covered internal courtyard -but everything was great the next time we stayed - different room with window to outdoor. Good breakfast - again helpful staff. Very clean throughout.

Very enjoyable stay, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.It was my wife's birthday and left some chocolates in our room, they also booked our restaurant for us while we were sight seeing.The room and Hotel was spotlessly clean, and the bed very comfortable. It was perfectly situated to access the sights and restaurants. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but chose to go to the Cafe next door, it was excellent.

As with many small hotels even in big cities in Spain, English can be a problem but Lydia was terrific following through on every request and ensuring our comfort and enjoyment.

Very pleasant staff. Great location. Extremely comfortable bed. Bathroom could have done with a lick of paint but essentially a really good experience.

Terrible hotel --hugely overpriced for the room quality and location

Was looking forward to staying here after reading reviews but it was a disappointment. Room was dark, without fresh air and full of mosquitoes. Travelling solo but had difficulty fitting myself and my luggage into the very small room. No uniform room standards, there are some good rooms and some terrible rooms... I got the latter.

Hotel is in good location, but can be very noisy at night. Overall nice lobby and central courtyard, but the room was extremely small and dark (no window) and the bathroom so tiny there was no room for a toiletry bag.
