We stayed at the deco dacant penthouse and it was fantastic. We loved the layout of the penthouse as it was spacious both indoor and outdoor. Also had beautiful views from most of the penthouse areas.

The location and the view

The apartment felt like it could be cleaner and there was a fair amount of deferred maintenance (patio door lock non functional, unpainted patch on the ceiling, peeling varnish on the outside of the patio door, etc)

"Art Deco Gem in Central Napier"

A stunning old building with timber floors, high ceilings and spacious accommodation. Good kitchen and laundry facilities and lovely big bath. Great central Napier location.

Tired fittings, some needing repair. Blown globes around the mirror. Shower door does not seal well and water can leak out of the bathroom onto the hallway carpet. Water only just hot enough for the bath. All this not enough to detract from a lovely place to stay.
