Property Notes

The Riverside Hotel houses a male sauna facilities. Male guests staying at the hotel are entitled to 50% discount for the entrance to the sauna. All guests are entitled to 50% discount for the use of the on-site fitness club. Any guests who checks out on Saturday needs to pay parking fee from 9 am to 9 pm. Current The valet parking fee 4,000KRW / 10,000KRW(22:00-06:00). Additional cost will be applied 2,000KRW per 10 minutes from 10pm during the weekend and public holiday. The valet parking fee 5,000KRW will be applied from 1st May 2023 6:00am. A deposit may be required at the property.

"-------> NO WIFI INTERNET SERVICE"

Sorry I hate to do this, but working for a hotel myself for 21 years as front desk and management, this is the only way it will get fixed is if you put a comment on TripAdvisor for the owners to wake up. -------> NO INTERNET SERVICES!!!!!! This is the truth. I stayed there for four nights. I'm sure some rooms have it but I've tried a couple rooms they've moved me to and it just went dead. Here's a tip. If you can't get service go to the 12th floor by 1218 it is strong or the lobby. Anywhere else and trust me I've walked all over the hotel you get dead zones. It's creepy that I had to sit on the floor outside peoples rooms constantly to get service. I hate to write a review but I have to let everyone know before they book. I've been in 37 countries in less than 2 years so I spend all my time in hotels this is by far the worst internet service I've ever experienced and I've stayed out in the jungle in the middle of nowhere and had way better service. The rooms are fine but dated and need repair. It's obviously been a soft renovation. Meaning they made it look good on the outside of the hotel and the lobby but when you get to the rooms it's the "bait and switch" meaning it's old and dirty and falling apart. This is probably why the internet is not working as it's older cables in the wall that are not connecting due to corrosion. Management will most likely write back to this review saying that they fixed the problem just to save their buns...but trust me I worked for 4 hotels for 21 years and this is common practice so they can get customers to keep coming back by saying they fixed the problem. Need to tear out the old system and put in a new wireless system completely. This cost money and by the looks of the inside of the rooms...this will not happen. There's no excuse for the year we live in. It all has to come down to cheap owners. Sorry about the review...I hate to do this... You're pretty much just sitting in a box with nothing to do when there's no internet. You can't even look up tourist information or any information whatsoever if you're trying to get around the city or get work done this is not the hotel for you. The staff on the other hand are amazing and very helpful. I feel bad for them having to pretend like it's a new problem when you make a complaint. I've been there before...trust me from experience. Once again I apologize. Hopefully this helps get it fixed. Sincerely,

Closed to train station

The entrance is so bad when you need to carry one big luggage and small one if you don't have a car and don't use a taxi but use the transportation because you have to carry down through the stairs. The room is so small and dirty, especially the carpet

"It was okay, it could have been better."

•The bed was comfortable •The view was nice •The price of our stay wasn’t bad •The room service workers were always polite and understanding.

•VERY Expensive Laundry charge. Laundry prices should be included in documents or black book provided in hotel •Not enough space in rooms. •Front desk staff/ everytime we talked to them the conversation felt uncomfortable and rushed. It felt like we were a burden when we asked them questions. It also felt like they were giving attitude. •No shower curtain •Stains on new/“clean” sheets/ pillowcases. .Front desk staff cares more about the wedding parties then the guests. •If a pool is provided, then it should be stated that a swimming cap is needed or atleast sold at the front desk of the pool. (Only thing stated to bring was swimming attire but nothing else) •Small bugs in sink at times.
