The Class 300

The rooms are big and clean, breakfast are okay. We had an overnight stay there before going to Nami Island. The location is too far from the Seoul City, it will take 4-5 hrs land travel. we recommend this hotel.

Good for a short stop over when visiting Mt Seorak and Nami Island. Rooms are simple but clean. Stayed in a Queens size bed on level 3. There is 7 eleven next door for any last minutes necessities or snacks. And the fish market is a stone throw where all the fresh seafood is available for dinner.

My family and I (6pax-me, wife and 4 kids) visited South Korea for 5 days as part of a group tour. We only stayed here overnight as our tour would visit Seoraksan National Park and other nearby destinations in Sokcho before heading to Seoul. We arrived very late in the evening (sunday), but the staff was quick enough to service over 100 tourists and get us checked-in to our rooms (our tour guides helped so that could also have made the process faster). Rooms are spacious that you don't bump into one another as you go around the room. It was generally clean, though I did have this feeling that it was a bit stuffy. I didn't have the same observation in the kids' room though when I checked it (so it must have been just me). Toilet and bath were clean and everything was functioning properly. The only negative I have for the room was the free wifi, we wanted to upload some updates on social media of our arrival and accommodation, but we didn't get to do it as the system kept kicking us out. Since it was past 1AM during that time and we had a 7am departure, we didn't bother anymore an just slept. Breakfast buffet was a lively setting. Apparently we were not the only group tour booked at the hotel. So we literally filled a whole function hall with people having breakfast. They had a good combination of western/international cuisine, plus of course traditional korean and asian cuisines as well. After our hearty breakfast we then packed our bags and left the hotel. Short stay that it was.

Stayed for one night for our trip to Mt Seorak. Our twin bed room was not really big, but the bathroom is nice and clean - they provided tub, shower and nice toiletries. Carpet was stained and the inner curtain was ripped. Close to Seven Eleven and the main road.

Hotel is average and they need upgrade their amenities for clients convenience. Lobby was too small for big groups but manageable. Breakfast selection was okay, they offer good spot by the window. Front desk was helpful enough for our queries.

Stayed only one night during our visit to Mt. Seorak. Large and clean room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom with modern amenities. Anyway there wasn't much of a water view from the room. Hard to communicate with front office staff as they don't understand English. But they try their best to help. Breakfast buffet had a good spread including more western style dishes. Wish we had stayed longer.

We stayed in the condos.. booked that by accident. They don’t provide water or coffee/tea. There’s no instructions as to how we can contact front desk but that doesn’t matter as they don’t speak English. Could not get aircon to work and nobody can help. Even instructions were provided in koreAn.. no English version. Very far from anything.

Room was ok but too warm. Furnishings were a little outdated.

We started from Incheon Airport with our driver and after many tunnels we reached Sokcho about 4 hours later. The Class 300 has some years on ist shoulders and obviously nobody could speak English. Our driver Anthony was of good help. We had a beauitiful view from our room on the ocean, breakfast on floor 15 had also many things for Westerners. Because the Seoraksan National Park is only about 10 km away the Class 300 is a good choice.

we stayed for 2 nights in Class 300 condo (not the class 300 hotel - although they are next to each other). We loved the room, it was big and you can do your simple cooking, moreover the view from our room was excellent, you can almost see the entire city of sokcho. the room was a bit cold though, we couldn't find the heater switch but it was okay, there is a small room in the same room with a small bed which is a bit warmer. you can walk to this condo from sokcho express bus terminal (about 15 minutes walk). the only thing was they only provided small towels, not sure why. the transport was easy, you can take bus in front or opposite the hotels. we didn't take the breakfast since you can find 7-eleven nearby and you can also cook simple dishes.
