Hotel Le Mahana Huahine

C'est un hôtel très confortable, propre et très bien entretenu. Le personnel est très sympathique. Le restaurant donnant sur la plage, les pieds dans le sable offre de très bons plats, bien cuisinés. Il se trouve face à une très belle plage avec d'un coté des récifs coralliens où on peut voir des poissons de toutes les couleurs.

We signed up for a tour 1/2 day 4x4 tour then 1/2 day of catamaran. The advertised description was not what we received. We did enjoy our land tour all the same although parts were missing from description. The catamaran was not y try on our liking. There were too many people and the friendly staff made it into a strange spectacle at the end, dressing up a male tourist into “drag”. We thought that was over the top, like a circus. One other issue was that I think I got food poisoning from my last meal (swordfish) which was served to me very undercooked , and I returned it to be cooked more but maybe the bacteria was still on the plate, or on my fork… it was a very rough 24 hours which followed.

Great beach front bungalows! Love the Island, and the remote location of the hotel on the Ita side... Renting a scooter is great to see the larger side of Huahine called Nue. The food choices were limited for me, whom does not eat fish.

Beautiful location, but service for lunch at restaurant was terrible, quality of housekeeping was inconsistent, and room was filled with mosquitos.

We just spent 4 wonderful days at the Hotel Le Mehana on Huahini Iti in May. This was a very lovely part of our trip to French Polynesia. The hotel is a special place on a special island. Huahine is one of the most beautiful tropical islands in the world and you will not go wrong staying here. The islands of Huahine are some of the least visited in the area with far less people than on Moorea or Bora Bora. The hotel is a fantastic property on a very scenic beach, a place I will always recommend to others. We had a lovely garden unit that had everything needed for a wonderful beach stay including a shaded lanai, a very comfortable bed, a huge shower, a safebox for your valuables, plenty of towels and a refrigerator to keep your drinks and snacks cold. The waterfront units looked even better.

If you are looking for peace and quiet among beautiful surroundings then this is the place for you. Very nice staff and good food on site.

Beautiful setting, right on the beach. Very authentic. The staff is particularly pleasant and courteous.

Our stay at Hotel Le Mahana was amazing! The staff was super accommodating to us, as we brought our two little kids with us. They had onsite car/bike/scooter rental options, and even though we weren't able to use our bike rental, they worked with us to switch it for a car. The staff was so friendly and helpful with everything we needed or asked for, especially Matania! We have a beautiful bungalow right on the beach, and it is a perfect location for families and kids too! The staff was so helpful in telling us where everything was, and it was great that the hotel also provided gear, kayaks, and paddleboards at no additional cost! We definitely plan on going back some day!

We just spent a week at the Mahana in Huahine and totally enjoyed our stay! Our deluxe beach bungalow was just steps to the beach and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. It was very busy at lunch and dinner times and the staff always had a smile on! The snorkeling right in front of the hotel was pretty good - a great variety of fish and healthy coral. A very quiet and relaxing place on our new favorite island of Huahine. We can't wait to go back....

We were quite disappointed with relais mahana. The location is nice and secluded, however the bungalows are a bit outdated, too close to each other, and the service is not good: they are not enough employees, especially at the restaurant. All the waitresses are doing their best (they are literally running from one table to the other) but it is just that they aren't enough for the full capacity of the hotel. I would recommend to go to lapita hotel: we went out for dinner over there on the last night and the service was amazing and the cuisine was excellent. It is more expensive than the relais mahana but the experience is much better.
